Pre-treatment Checklist
Make sure you read the instructions below before booking an appointment!
Do not book Hydrafacial if you are pregnant or breastfeeding
Do not book Hydrafacial if you have received chemotherapy or radiation therapy.
Discontinue the use of any Isotretinoin products (such as Accutane) for 12 months before treatment - unless you have clearance by a clinician.
Discontinue the use of topical Retin-A or generic tretinoin for at least 72 prior to your Hydrafacial treatment.
Refrain from any type of exfoliating treatments such as glycolic acid or enzymes to the area for 72 hours before your HydraFacial treatment.
Refrain from any micro needling, medium and/or deep chemical resurfacing treatments (peels) and laser treatments for 4 weeks before your HydraFacial teatment.
Refrain from waxing and use of depilatories for 72 hours before treatment.
Discontinue the use of over-the-counter acne medications such as benzoyl peroxide and salicylic acid for 72 hours before treatment.
Avoid excessive sun exposure as well as the use of artificial tanning beds for 72 hours before treatment.
Wait 1 week after Botox and 2 weeks after fillers to undergo treatment. Botox and fillers can be given on the same day but AFTER your HydraFacial treatment.
For men, shaving is not recommended on the day of treatment. If you choose to shave, please shave the night before your treatment.
Post-treatment Checklist
Make sure you follow the instructions below after getting a Hydrafacial!
Avoid excessive sun exposure as well as the use of artificial tanning beds for 72 hours after treatment.
Wash face with a gentle cleanser
Apply gentle moisturizer twice a day
Apply SPF 30 or greater sunscreen daily
Discontinue the use of topical Retin-A or generic tretinoin for at least 72 after treatment.
Refrain from waxing and use of depilatories for 72 hours after treatment
Refrain from any medium and/or deep chemical resurfacing treatments (peels) and laser treatments for 2 weeks after your HydraFacial MD treatment.
Refrain from any type of exfoliating treatments such as glycolic acid or enzymes to the area for 72 hours after your Hydrafacial treatment.
Discontinue use of over-the-counter acne medications such as benzoyl peroxide and salicylic acid for 72 hours after treatment
Avoid heat (hot showers, sauna, and intense cardio) for 24 hours after treatment.
